Thank you for visiting my new website!  Herbie Autobahn is a high quality performer playing live German Music for your singing, listening, and dancing pleasure.  Herbie Autobahn has perfected the schlager sounds of Germany through his 30 plus years of entertaining.  Herbie Autobahn plays the accordion, keyboard, and sings and yodels. 

Herbie Autobahn has performed to the likes of Siegfried and Roy, Myron Floren (Accordion player for the Laurence Welk Show), Hootie and the Blowfish, and around the beautiful United States.  Herbie Autobahn is the son of German immigrants who raised Herbie Autobahn speaking German and playing the accordion in Cincinnati, Ohio.  Herbie Autobahn started his professional career at an early age of 14 years old at Kings Island Amusement Park in Cincinnati, Ohio.  Herbie Autobahn has won many competition medals playing the Accordion-Classical and Piano-Classical.  Herbie Autobahn soon understood the electronics and had the first mid according in 1982 which was the electronic organ accordion.  This allowed Herbie Autobahn to perform amplified at larger venues.  As a matter of fact, Herbie Autobahn wrote and recorded an alternative pop tune and submitted it to the local radio station contest.  Herbie Autobahn won but the radio station couldn't understand that it was performed with an electronic midi Accordion.  Herbie Autobahn has also perfected the art of yodeling!  Yodeling is very tricky because you alternate between your regular voice to a falsetto in 3rds and 5ths.  Herbie Autobahn was commissioned by Nashville Music One to compose and sing a Yodeling song which is now played in movies and Volkswagen commercial in Japan.
